Apex Roofing will award one (1) prize at the end of the prize period. The prize period ends on June 30th, 2024. The drawing for the prize will be held on July 4th, 2024. The prize winner will be determined from a random drawing of all entries received during the prize period. The odds of winning the prize are determined by the number of entries received prior to the time of the prize drawing. The winner will be notified within 15-days of the drawing. The inability to contact the winner with the prize notification will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

The prize winner will receive one (1) Apex Roofing roof replacement, professionally installed, with a retail value of up to $15,000 using Owens Corning Duration shingles. Prize is nontransferable. The only redeemable prize is a roof replacement. No substitution in prize or cash is allowed. The prize must be installed at the address listed on the winning entry form. Installation must be provided by Apex Roofing. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these official rules, if a winner has already purchased goods or services from Apex Roofing, the winner may choose a full refund (not to exceed the retail value of up to $15,000 or the equivalent of their purchase, whichever is less).

Entrants may enter this giveaway by completing the entry form online. No more than one entry per household and/or one person is allowed. Each entry must have a unique address and phone number submitted onto form. Apex Roofing is not responsible for any illegible, incorrect or late entries. The address listed on each entry form must be the address where the prize is to be installed if such entry is selected as a winner.

Giveaway entrants must (i) be legal residents of the United States; (ii) be 18 years of age or older, (iii) own their own home, whose home is in a suitable condition (as determined by Apex Roofing) for installation of the prize (including compliance with local building codes and regulations), and (iv) reside in one of the following counties: Spokane County, Kootenai County, Whitman County, Latah County, Nez Perce County, Asotin County. Employees, officers and directors of Apex Roofing, its affiliates, subsidiaries, co-branded partners, consultants, contractors, advertising, public relations, promotion, fulfillment and marketing agencies, their immediate families (and those living in their same households) are not eligible to participate in this giveaway. The prize winner’s house must be in suitable condition for installation (e.g., structural damage, etc.). Any repairs necessary for proper installation (as deemed by Apex Roofing in their sole discretion) must be performed at owner’s expense prior to installation. Installation labor does not include framing work.

Upon installation of prize, Apex Roofing will be deemed to have awarded and fulfilled the prize to the winner, with the winner assuming full ownership and responsibility for the prize. Winner must arrange for prize installation no later than one month following the award of the prize and installation must occur and be completed within twelve months of notification.

The winner must comply with all instructions in the prize notification correspondence, including completing an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release, and return them within fifteen days of the date on the prize notification correspondence as well as have met all the eligibility requirements set forth within these rules; otherwise the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.

Liability for any applicable taxes, including all federal, state, and local taxes and/or other fees that may apply to prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Any required tax reporting forms will be furnished to the Internal Revenue Service. All expenses not specifically provided for by Apex Roofing in these rules are the sole responsibility of the winner. Any cost for installation, including but not limited to services, labor and materials to complete the roof replacement that exceed $15,000 will be the sole responsibility of the winner.

Entries that are lost, late, illegible or incomplete for any reason will not be eligible. Apex Roofing reserves the right to modify or terminate this giveaway at any time or disqualify any entry in good faith. In the event of a dispute concerning the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the winning home is titled.

By participating in this giveaway, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Apex Roofing, its affiliates, co-branded partners, subsidiaries, retailers, agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use and/or misuse of the prize or participation in these promotions. Acceptance of a prize may require entering a standard contract or purchase order for the goods and services to be provided, as required by state law.

This giveaway is conducted in English (which will be given its everyday ordinary meaning).

Acceptance or use of the prize constitutes the winner’s agreement and consent for Apex Roofing and its affiliates to use the winner’s name, photo, voice, military rank and/or branch, likeness and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further consideration, review, approval or payment, where allowed by law. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the official rules and the decisions of Apex Roofing, which are final and binding in all respects. Acceptance or use of the prize constitutes permission for Apex Roofing and its affiliates to run a feature on recipient for social media, advertising and promotional purposes without compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by law. Apex Roofing is not responsible for any typographical or other error in administration of the promotion.

Apex Roofing is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Apex Roofing on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website or any combination thereof. If for any reason the promotions are not capable of running as planned for any reason Apex Roofing reserves the right in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest without any notice and select the winners by random drawing from among all eligible entries received.
